B i o g r a p h y

Since Michael was 2 years old, he was banging on something; whether it was pots and pans, the walls, chairs, or his drum sets. Michael has had the privilege to study under Sandy Baetzhold (Piano), Patrick Fata (Piano), Deborah Wittstein (Piano), Geoff Davis (Ukelele), Bethany Robinson (Mallet Percussion), Robert Babcock (Mallet Percussion), Stacey White (Percussion), Jeremy Livingston (Percussion), and Sean Carver (Marching Percussion). Marching with Noblesville in IPA indoor percussion and Indiana Track Show, Michael plays piano, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, and marching tenors.

"Music has always been my greatest love. There is no better way to tell stories and share emotions than through music."

Michael was 8 years old when he saw his first musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. After that performance, musical theatre was always a large part of his life. The year after he graduated from Noblesville High School, 2012, Michael got his first professional show to play for: Monty Python's Spamalot by Bobdirex in Indianapolis. Ever since that show, Michael has been drumming for shows, on stage, and in churches around Indiana.

Currently, Michael is an accompanist for Noblesville High School Choir Department, and plays for many theaters around Indiana, including the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre.
